Avaliação do desenvolvimento vegetativo em cafeeiros sombreado e a pleno sol Evaluation of the vegetative development in coffee trees shading and the full sun RESUMO: A inclusão de árvores para sombreamento em culturas cafeeiras promove alterações na distribuição da energia radiante, nas condições térmicas do ar, do solo e da planta, no regime de umidade do ar e vento no ambiente, e na umidade do solo (SÁ, 1994), dessa forma ganha relevância o conhecimento científico em diferentes formas de cultivo. Este trabalho teve por objetivo avaliar o desenvolvimento vegetativo em cafeeiros sombreado e a pleno sol, por meio das seguintes características: comprimento de ramo, diâmetro de copa, diâmetro do caule, área foliar e altura. Maior comprimento de ramo e altura foi observado no sistema sombreado. Em relação às outras características estudadas não se verificou diferenças. PALAVRAS-CHAVE: área foliar, Coffea arabica L., sistema agroflorestal, luz ABSTRACT: The inclusion of trees for shading in coffee cultures promotes alterations in the distribution of the radiating energy, in the thermal conditions of air, the ground and the plant, in the regimen of humidity of air and wind in the environment, and the humidity of the ground (SÁ, 1994), of this form gains relevance the scientific knowledge in different forms of culture. This work had for objective to evaluate the vegetative development in coffee trees shading and the full sun, by means of the following characteristics: length of branch, diameter of pantry, diameter of stem, foliar area and height. Bigger length of branch and height was observed in the system shading. In relation the other studied characteristics one did not verify differences.
