Incidencia de sustratos de fabricación casera sobre el índice de micorrización y la morfología radical en plantines de tomate
Resumo
Horticulturist in La Plata city area use commercial substrates for tomatoes seedling production. However, these raw materials are highly expensive. In previous experiences, it has been proved that it is possible to replace commercial substrate for home made ones. This improved tomatoes seedlings. The goal of this work is to analyse whether the difference in the root distribution and length is due to the presence of MVA micorrhizal symbiosis where roots modify their structure. Morphometric analysis and direct microbiological observation techniques on rooth were used to determine modification and micorrhizal indexes. Micorrhizal index obtained was higher in all home made substrates in comparison to the commercial ones. This resulted into a better root morphology of seedlings planted into home-made substrates at the moment of transplanting.Downloads
